During an illness or after an injury, thinking positively can be very challenging.
Try some of these thoughts whilst meditating:
- May the bad things that have happened be purged from my thoughts
- May I not indulge in resentment, blame or hurt
- May my life be free from destructive patterns, habits and careless acts
- I shall focus my attention on creation and renewal
When and where
If you are recuperating from a disease or recovering from the consequences of an accident, or surgery, you may be confined to bed while practicing this meditation, but it can be useful in any challenging situation.
