In order to get in touch with your inner self you have to have a period gradual awakening.
For you to succeed you need to have the ability to empty your mind, let go of any worries or anxieties, and instead focus on thoughts of freshness and renewal.
When and where
Dependent on the weather! You could sit outside in the warm and sunny atmosphere, where you can connect with nature, hear the birds singing, or the gentle breeze rustling through the trees. The air on your face. Alternatively if your in a town/city you could sit on a park bench or just a quiet spot away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday living!
Whilst you are there, take in your surroundings, just sit there quietly and watch the world go by. You will be surprised what you could easily of missed whilst you just sit there, and watch, before your mindset could of been of work, home or school, what you have planned for that day, how busy you are! Just take 5, and let these thoughts just slip away from your mind momentarily.
Maybe you would like to listen to some relaxing music, and then just relax, listen to your breathing, maybe close your eyes, and just allow your mind to release any tension or stress, if a thought pops into your mind, just acknowledge it and then let it slip away, like leaves falling from the trees at Autumn time. Do this was as long as you like. When you open your eyes, think of this and let our journey begin….
